Infosys and Economist Impact have launched The Sustainability Atlas, an AI-powered decision-making tool designed to help businesses and policymakers advance their sustainability strategies with data-backed precision.
Built on Infosys Topaz, a generative AI suite, the Atlas draws from 18 Economist Impact indices, over 1,700 indicators, and 500+ expert reports to offer streamlined, trustworthy insights into climate resilience, social inclusion, and circular economy practices across global regions.
“The Sustainability Atlas provides easily accessible and actionable insights to policy makers and business leaders worldwide,” said Jonathan Birdwell, Global Head of Policy & Insights at Economist Impact. “Never before have we been able to bring all of that data and insights together in one place.”

A standout feature is its interactive globe, allowing users to compare sustainability metrics—like food security, health inclusion, and EV readiness—between countries and cities. This enables C-suites to pinpoint region-specific sustainability risks and investment opportunities.
For business leaders, the tool also delivers sector-specific analytics across energy, financial services, manufacturing, and retail. For example, energy companies can benchmark emissions performance while policy teams can identify priority challenges for regulatory targeting.

With broad coverage across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific, the Sustainability Atlas is positioned as a strategic portal for global sustainability leadership—offering real-time intelligence to shape climate-forward decisions at scale.
