Aker Solutions has secured a substantial long-term maintenance and modifications (M&M) contract from ConocoPhillips for work on the Eldfisk and Ekofisk fields offshore Norway, extending one of the company’s largest brownfield portfolios on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
The six-year frame agreement, which begins in January 2027, includes options for two additional three-year extensions. Work covers ongoing brownfield maintenance and modification services for the Eldfisk and Ekofisk installations—major hubs in Norway’s mature offshore infrastructure.
Project management will be led from Aker Solutions’ Stavanger office, with fabrication to be carried out at the company’s Egersund yard. Offshore personnel will also support the work.
“The global offshore industry needs standardized and efficient solutions, executed with speed and precision. Our aim is to reduce costs without compromising safety,” said Paal Eikeseth, executive vice president and head of Aker Solutions’ Life Cycle Business.
Eikeseth added that the award reinforces a long-standing collaboration between the companies and reflects consistent performance across previous M&M campaigns.
Aker Solutions classifies the contract as substantial, meaning it is valued between NOK 2.5 billion and NOK 4 billion ($230 million–$365 million). The award will be booked in the company’s fourth-quarter 2025 order intake.
