Sulzer’s new facilities will support essential industries in the region, including oil and gas and power generation. The expansion underlines Sulzer’s global strategy of establishing full-service, in-region capabilities to meet the needs of its industrial customers.

As part of its ongoing strategy to grow across Latin America and enhance its service offerings, Sulzer has expanded its footprint in Argentina with the opening of a third facility. In addition to a field service hub in La Plata and a main office in the heart of Buenos Aires, Sulzer has recently opened a new rotating equipment service center in Ezeiza to serve its clients in key industries including oil and gas, pulp and paper, power generation and food and beverage. This milestone strengthens the company’s local presence and underscores its commitment to supporting customers across the region with greater reach and capabilities.
The facility provides a more advanced setup by creating a safer and higher-capacity production facility for customers. In addition, Sulzer is expanding its engineering capabilities to offer pump operators innovative energy efficiency upgrades that reduce emissions by lowering their assets’ power consumption.
“The opening of three new facilities in Argentina is a testament to our ongoing commitment to providing our customers in the region with critical manufacturing and industrial solutions and unparalleled service offerings,” said Gabriel Skazon, General Manager of Sulzer Argentina. “We are excited about this progress and our growth in Argentina and the broader Latin America region.”
Sulzer’s turbomachinery and pump service center in Ezeiza spans 2,600 m2 and is divided into dedicated areas for turbomachinery and pump services. The facility offers comprehensive repair and engineering capabilities for rotors and turbomachinery components, supporting customers across the broader region. The Argentina facilities openings come on the heels of recent expansion in the region, with a 15% increase in local staff. In addition to the service capabilities in Argentina, Sulzer’s advanced manufacturing facility in Jundiai, Brazil offers quick access to new pumps for energy, infrastructure, water and industry.
As critical industries drive our societies and economies, Sulzer’s core mission is to support those essential sectors that millions rely on every day. By upgrading its factories in Brazil, expanding manufacturing capabilities in Colombia, and growing its sales presence in Peru, Sulzer is creating new opportunities not only within each country but across the broader Latin American region. Throughout its 190-year history, Sulzer has expanded to 160 manufacturing facilities and service centers around the world. A leading manufacturer of pumps and carbon-reducing chemical technologies, Sulzer also provides comprehensive engineering solutions and rotating equipment services.
