The agreement marks a step-change in PETRONAS Carigali’s digital transformation strategy, enabling faster identification of new hydrocarbon prospects, improved drilling success rates, and expedited project execution across its global portfolio.
Geoteric’s AI-powered seismic interpretation software integrates seamlessly into existing geoscience workflows and has already proven to reduce cycle times by up to 90%. By combining human expertise with machine learning, the platform enhances decision-making and delivers quicker returns on seismic data investments.
Under the multi-year agreement, PETRONAS Carigali will deploy Geoteric’s AI technology across its operations worldwide, gaining standardized project execution and contributing to long-term value creation. The partnership also positions PETRONAS Carigali at the forefront of developing new geoscience technologies and workflows in collaboration with Geoteric.
