FutureOn has rolled out a major upgrade to its FieldTwin platform, introducing enhanced reporting, visualization, and 3D functionality alongside the debut of FieldTwin Intelligence, an AI assistant designed to streamline offshore subsea projects.

Stig Wølstad-Knudsen, CEO at FutureOn
The upgraded platform evolves beyond its origins as a design tool, becoming the only geospatial open API digital twin solution purpose-built for subsea projects. By integrating design capability, geospatial accuracy, and lifecycle execution in one workspace, FieldTwin enables engineers to cut project timelines from six months to six weeks, while improving decision-making across concept, execution, and decommissioning phases.
FieldTwin also now supports two-way integration with external tools, including Baker Hughes’ engageSubsea, bringing real-time asset integrity insights directly into geospatial models. The introduction of FieldTwin Intelligence further enhances collaboration by allowing teams to query securely stored engineering knowledge using natural language search, making decades of project data accessible to current operations.
“Offshore energy projects are more complex than ever, and visualization alone is no longer enough,” said Stig Wølstad-Knudsen, CEO of FutureOn. “FieldTwin brings together design tools, project data and asset history in one secure, integrated workspace. With the addition of FieldTwin Intelligence, AI becomes practical—helping surface the right knowledge at the right time without disrupting workflows.”
The release positions FutureOn as a leader in subsea digital transformation, with global operators already adopting FieldTwin’s expanded capabilities to accelerate offshore project delivery and improve lifecycle asset management.
