India could be the next country to reach a quick trade deal with the US, after Britain and the Trump Administration signed a tariff agreement this week. Suncor Energy Inc. has reported CAD 1.69 billion ($1.21 billion) in net profit for the first quarter (Q1) of 2025, up from CAD 1.61 billion for the same three-month period last year as it achieved its highest-ever upstream output and refined product sales for the January-March period. BKV Corp. and Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) have agreed to form a joint venture (JV) on carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS) in the United States.
