Business data and reporting solutions provider Workiva announced today the launch of Intelligent Finance, GRC, and Sustainability, significantly expanding its Intelligent platform with agentic AI capabilities to help finance, GRC, and sustainability teams to accelerate complex workflows and deliver insights from data.
The announcement included the launch of Workiva AI, an agentic AI platform built into the solutions.
Key capabilities of Intelligent Sustainability highlighted by Workiva include the ability to manage complex sustainability reporting requirements, with capabilities in areas including materiality assessments, peer benchmarking, and disclosure analysis and drafting in alignment with standards including ISSB and ESRS.
One of the new release’s key sustainability-related capabilities demonstrated by Workiva is the ability to benchmark and analyze peer companies’ sustainability reports, such as exploring peers’ sustainability goals detailed in the reports, and drilling down into specific goals and initiatives. Workiva also highlighted features including an “ISSB disclosure creator” to craft language that references specific ISSB standards in sustainability and financial reporting, as well as features to analyze disclosures in accordance with ESRS standards, evaluate impacts risks and opportunities, and to assess reports for accuracy, coherency, consistency and completeness.
