The UN Global Compact Network USA has named Amanda Gardiner as its new Executive Director, signaling a strategic push to expand its impact and engagement with the U.S. private sector on sustainability.
Gardiner brings over 20 years of experience integrating ESG and social impact into global business strategy. Most recently, she served as Meta’s first Head of ESG, where she “drove strategy and implementation efforts at a transformative time in the technology sector.” Her previous leadership roles include guiding corporate responsibility at Verizon and Pearson, advising boards and C-suites on embedding sustainability into business operations.

Network USA supports nearly 1,000 signatories—representing more than 18% of U.S. GDP—and has steadily expanded its programming and team to advance the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact, which span human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption.
