TechnipFMC has landed a significant contract with Petrobras to design, engineer, and manufacture subsea production systems for multiple offshore projects in Brazil. The award, valued between $75 million and $250 million, will support a mix of greenfield developments, brownfield expansions, and asset revitalizations across Petrobras’ portfolio.

The agreement also includes installation support and life-of-field services, with options for additional equipment as projects progress. All subsea systems will be built and serviced in Brazil, underscoring both companies’ long-standing partnership and commitment to local content.
Jonathan Landes, President of Subsea at TechnipFMC, said the company’s industrialized operating model will allow Petrobras to benefit from standardized, innovative solutions and reliable delivery schedules. “This award builds on decades of collaboration with Petrobras and reinforces our role as a trusted partner in Brazil’s offshore oil and gas sector,” Landes noted.

The subsea contract with TechnipFMC highlights the company’s ongoing investment in expanding and revitalizing its offshore production capacity, ensuring Brazil maintains its position among the world’s leading oil producers.
