Pune Gas, a provider of gas systems for commercial and industrial use, has opened North India’s first dedicated LPG and natural gas systems Experience Centre in Okhla, Delhi. The Delhi facility is the company’s first wholly owned experience centre and its seventh overall.
The centre is expected to support Pune Gas’ expansion strategy across North India by offering consultation and demonstration services for gas systems. It will cater to customers and industries across Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Uttarakhand.
According to the company, the centre will showcase end-to-end gas solutions, including vaporiser systems and gas infrastructure components, to help businesses choose suitable systems for their operational needs.
Addressing sectoral inefficiencies
India consumed 30,916 TMT of LPG in FY 2022–23, of which only 16 per cent was used in industrial and commercial sectors. Many users in these sectors continue to rely on fuels such as diesel, furnace oil, kerosene, and wood. The company said that North India has more than 7.12 lakh industrial and commercial LPG users, many of whom face issues such as LPG cylinder freezing, leading to gas loss.Pune Gas’ LPGenius system is designed to address these inefficiencies. “North India has always held a special place in our growth journey, and establishing a strong presence in Delhi was a natural step forward,” said Jaisinh Sampat. “Delhi, with its location and position as a hub for industry and commerce, opens up opportunities for Pune Gas to support businesses with energy systems. He added that the company’s solutions have helped businesses save ₹1,400 crore annually by reducing fuel inefficiencies.
The experience centre features Pune Gas’ flagship offerings:LPGenius: A gas system that addresses cylinder freezing and sweating. It works with LOT (Liquid Off-Take) 47.5 kg cylinders and is claimed to deliver 20–30 per cent cost savings.FuelFusion: A dual-fuel system that enables diesel generators to operate on a combination of diesel and LPG. The company says the system supports international energy and climate goals by reducing emissions.LeakCheck: A gas leak detection system designed for use in both commercial and industrial premises.
