New Delhi: Oil India Ltd (OIL) on Friday reported a consolidated turnover of ₹9,175 crore for the second quarter of FY26, compared to ₹8,136 crore in the year-ago period, according to a company statement.
The company’s standalone profit after tax (PAT) stood at ₹1,044 crore in Q2FY26, down from ₹1,834 crore in Q2FY25. The decline was due to lower crude price realisation at USD 68.19 per barrel against USD 79.33 per barrel last year.
The Board approved an interim dividend of ₹3.50 per equity share.
OIL reported total production of 1.652 MMTOE of oil and oil-equivalent gas in the quarter, against 1.674 MMTOE a year earlier. Its subsidiary Numaligarh Refinery Ltd (NRL) achieved crude throughput of 753 TMT, higher than 683 TMT in the corresponding quarter of FY25.
During the quarter, NRL commissioned the country’s first 2G bio-ethanol plant using bamboo as feedstock, inaugurated by the Prime Minister. OIL also completed the mechanical upgradation of the Numaligarh–Siliguri Product Pipeline.
The company said the force majeure at the Mozambique Area-1 Offshore LNG project, where OIL holds a 4 per cent stake, has been lifted as of November 2025.
