New Delhi: Oil India Limited (OIL) reported a 10.13 per cent rise in profit after tax (PAT) at ₹6,114.19 crore for the financial year 2024–25, compared to ₹5,551.85 crore in the previous year.

The company recorded its highest-ever combined crude oil and natural gas production at 6.71 million metric tonnes of oil equivalent (MMTOE) during the year. Crude oil production increased by 2.95 per cent to 3.458 million metric tonnes (MMT), while natural gas output grew by 2.20 per cent to 3.252 billion cubic metres (BCM).

In its meeting held on May 21, the Board of Directors recommended a final dividend of ₹1.50 per equity share for FY25. This is in addition to the interim dividend of 100 per cent already paid.

Total income for FY25 stood at ₹23,987.07 crore as against ₹24,514.28 crore in FY24. Turnover for the year was ₹22,117.22 crore, marginally lower than ₹22,129.79 crore in the previous year.

The company’s EBITDA for the year was ₹10,635.95 crore, with an EBITDA margin of 44.34 per cent. The earnings per share (EPS) increased to ₹37.59 from ₹34.13 a year ago. The average crude oil price realisation for the year was USD 78.09 per barrel, compared to USD 83.03 per barrel in FY24.

For the fourth quarter ending March 2025, OIL reported a PAT of ₹1,591.48 crore, compared to ₹2,028.83 crore in Q4 FY24. Total income for the quarter stood at ₹6,182.79 crore, compared to ₹6,589.91 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

The company’s capital expenditure for FY25 stood at ₹8,467.33 crore, an increase of 123.07 per cent over the previous year.

Sales volume during the year included 3.346 MMT of crude oil and 2.579 BCM of natural gas. Purchased natural gas sales amounted to 0.089 BCM. The total sales volume of oil and oil equivalent gas was 6.014 MMTOE, up from 5.809 MMTOE in FY24.
