Infosys aims to go climate positive by 2030, surpassing carbon neutrality with action across Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions.

Targets over 18 million people with digital skilling programs, aiming to create 500,000+ employment opportunities.

TechForGood and CSR initiatives have already impacted 125 million lives, with a focus on sustainability, healthcare, education, and women’s empowerment.

Infosys has unveiled a more ambitious ESG Vision 2030, sharpening its focus on climate action, digital inclusion, and social equity. The updated roadmap builds on progress made since the company’s original ESG vision launched in 2020.

“Our ESG 2030 roadmap isn’t just a commitment,” said Salil Parekh, CEO, Infosys. “It is our blueprint for pioneering responsible business leadership in a rapidly changing world, through being sustainable, socially responsible, and exemplary in governance.”

A Stronger Climate Commitment

Infosys, already carbon neutral for six consecutive years, now aspires to become climate positive by 2030. The company plans to reduce its entire carbon footprint—Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions—while investing in initiatives to sequester more carbon than it emits. Carbon neutrality will be maintained through 2029.

Scaling Impact Through Digital Skilling and Community Empowerment

Infosys is extending its digital skilling initiatives to reach over 18 million people, including employees, clients’ workforce, students, teachers, and underserved communities. These programs are aimed at enabling 500,000+ new employment opportunities.

“Our vision for the future has grown bolder too,” Parekh emphasized, reflecting on the expanded ambitions in employability and education.

Infosys’ TechForGood programs have empowered more than 125 million lives through e-governance, healthcare, and education, while its CSR efforts have included lake rejuvenation projects, employee volunteering, and healthcare interventions.

Governance and Data Privacy Leadership

Infosys will continue strengthening its diverse and inclusive Board and prioritize stakeholder interests, while advancing data privacy and information security leadership across global markets.

Among its achievements:

Named among the World’s Most Ethical Companies by Ethisphere for the fifth year in a row.

The first India-headquartered company to receive EU Binding Corporate Rules (BCR) approval for data protection standards.
