Indian Oil Corporation (IndianOil) on Monday said it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Maruti Suzuki India (MSIL) to set up authorised vehicle service facilities at select IndianOil fuelling stations across the country, creating a unified convenience experience for millions of car owners.
According to the official press release, under the partnership, customers will be able to avail scheduled periodic maintenance and minor repair services for their Maruti Suzuki cars at the same locations where they refuel, transforming fuel stations into more comprehensive mobility hubs.
“With a network of over 41,000 fuel stations across the length and breadth of India, we are uniquely positioned to bring essential services closer to the consumer,” said Saumitra P Srivastava, Director – Marketing, IndianOil.
Both companies emphasised that the collaboration is intended to offer a seamless ownership experience, increase accessibility to authorised service, and provide greater peace of mind to car owners.
For Maruti Suzuki, the partnership significantly expands the reach of its already extensive network of over 5,780 service touchpoints.
“This collaboration marks a significant step to bring the mobility and energy sector together and to deliver a superior customer care experience,” said Ram Suresh Akella, Executive Officer – Service, MSIL.
Akella added that working with IndianOil marks an important step toward integrating the mobility and energy sectors to deliver superior after-sales care.
