Google commits early-stage capital to support three 600MW advanced nuclear sites in the U.S.

Elementl targets over 10 GW of clean energy by 2035 through strategic utility and technology partnerships.

Agreement fast-tracks nuclear innovation to meet rising AI energy demands and corporate net-zero goals.

Elementl Power Inc. has signed a strategic agreement with Google to advance the development of three advanced nuclear energy sites across the U.S., marking a major step toward deploying next-generation baseload power.

As part of the deal, Google will provide early-stage development capital to support each site, which is expected to generate at least 600 megawatts of capacity. The agreement includes an option for commercial offtake once the sites become operational.

“Innovative partnerships like this are necessary to mobilize the capital required to build new nuclear projects, which are critical to deliver safe, affordable and clean baseload power and help companies advance their long-term net zero goals,” said Chris Colbert, Chairman and CEO of Elementl Power.

Elementl Power, launched in 2022, is targeting over 10 gigawatts of clean nuclear energy online by 2035. The company is collaborating with regulated utilities, independent power producers, and suppliers to bring these goals to fruition.

“Google is committed to catalyzing projects that strengthen the power grids where we operate, and advanced nuclear technology provides reliable, baseload, 24/7 energy,” said Amanda Peterson Corio, Global Head of Data Center Energy at Google.
“Our collaboration with Elementl Power enhances our ability to move at the speed required to meet this moment of AI and American innovation.”

The agreement allows Elementl to continue evaluating advanced technologies and EPC partners while fast-tracking specific site development.

“My partners and I launched Elementl Power in 2022 to solve a critical industry need and serve as a catalyst for private capital formation in advanced nuclear projects,” said Ryan Mills, Co-Founder and President.
“This partnership with Google represents a significant milestone in Elementl Power’s growth trajectory.”

This move signals a deeper alignment between big tech and clean energy infrastructure—positioning both companies at the forefront of America’s energy transformation.
