New Delhi: Godrej Enterprises Group’s Process Equipment business has delivered four high-pressure exchangers and one high-pressure separator to a blue ammonia production facility in the Middle East, the company said in a statement.
The exchangers weigh close to 250 metric tonnes, with two units measuring approximately 26 metres in length. The equipment is designed with low alloy steel metallurgy and engineered to operate under high temperatures and pressures to ensure energy recovery and process efficiency.
“This project represents yet another milestone for the Process Equipment business and demonstrates our commitment to supporting the global transition to cleaner energy sources. Our advanced engineering capabilities and manufacturing excellence have positioned us as a trusted partner for critical equipment in complex energy projects worldwide,” said Hussain Shariyarr, Executive Vice President & Business Head, Process Equipment, Godrej Enterprises.
The company stated that this delivery supports its strategy to align with global clean energy initiatives, particularly in hydrogen and ammonia production.
Previously, Godrej had supplied heat exchangers for a large-scale green hydrogen production facility in the Middle East. The company is also executing orders for blue hydrogen projects in the Americas.
The company said that the delivery to the blue ammonia plant highlights its growing participation in global energy transition projects.
