Discover how CarbonCure is revolutionizing concrete production with groundbreaking CO₂ utilization technology. In this exclusive ESG News interview, CarbonCure CEO Kristal Kaye sits down with ESG News CEO & Editor-in-Chief Matt Bird to reveal how injecting captured carbon dioxide into fresh concrete permanently mineralizes it—reducing cement use, cutting emissions, and generating verified carbon credits.

Key Highlights:

600+ systems deployed across 24 countries

Prevents 20+ metric tons of CO₂ per plant daily (equivalent to removing cars from roads)

Backed by Amazon, global banks, and MIT

Proven cost savings + carbon market validation

Looking to 2026, CarbonCure accelerates green construction in North America, Asia, and Europe through policy reform and direct carbon credit programs.

Kristal Kaye is a seasoned finance executive with over 30 years of experience in corporate strategy, financial management, and leadership across diverse industries including mining, energy, and retail pharmacy. She is currently serving as the Interim Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of CarbonCure Technologies, a leading cleantech company specializing in CO₂ mineralization for low-carbon concrete production. Based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Kaye is known for her straightforward leadership style, often described as a “superpower” for cutting through complexity to drive actionable climate solutions.
