AutoStore Marks 300th Install with New System in Aurora, Colorado

AutoStore has passed 300 warehouse installations in North America, with its latest system going live at Medline’s new site in Aurora, Colorado. The project, completed with longtime partner Swisslog, marks a full-circle moment—Medline was AutoStore’s first U.S. customer over a decade ago.

What’s Related

Today, Medline runs more than 20 AutoStore systems across the country, using 1,900 robots to fill orders quickly and support next-day delivery to 95% of its U.S. customers.

“Every AutoStore system is more than a warehouse upgrade; it’s a high-throughput advantage,” said Keith White, Chief Commercial Officer at AutoStore. “We are a promise that businesses can move faster, serve their customers better, and keep up with a world that does not slow down.”

Medline says the system has helped them move faster, pick more accurately, and deliver critical medical supplies when they’re needed most.

“When we first worked with Swisslog to install our first AutoStore more than a decade ago, we took a transformational leap in our less-than-case processing and continued to improve our fast, robust, and resilient supply chain,” said Daniel Schwartz, Vice President of Engineering at Medline. “Today, with over 20 systems and 1,900 robots across our network as the world’s largest AutoStore user, that investment continues to deliver on strong KPI improvements. AutoStore has helped us pick faster and stay ready for whatever our customers need. It is not just about efficiency. It is about getting accurate deliveries of critical medical supplies where they are needed, when they are needed most.”

Earlier this year, the company rolled out new products, including CarouselAI, a robotic picking system; VersaPort, a next-gen workstation; and a software package designed to improve system performance. AutoStore also introduced a Service Tower to boost uptime and make maintenance easier.

AutoStore also named Mike Dickson as President of the Americas. Dickson has been with the company since 2020, previously serving as Chief Revenue Officer and Senior Vice President of Global Business Development.
