Spain’s government has announced the fourth funding round of its eMobility programme PERTE. This programme will have a budget of 1.25 billion euros. In contrast to the previous year’s programmes, the main funding will be provided in the form of loans, which account for 1 billion euros of the total amount, while the remaining 250 million euros will be granted as direct subsidies. Abu Dhabi Mobility, an affiliate of the UAE’s Department of Municipalities and Transport, has just announced a large investment in new EV infrastructure. It includes the installation of 1,000 new charging points at 400 locations, including key strategic locations such as hotels and shopping centres.
