India’s ONGC, the biggest oil and gas company in the country, reported a 35% drop in profits for the fourth-quarter of its financial year, citing higher exploration costs. New Delhi: Oil India Limited (OIL) reported a 10.13 per cent rise in profit after tax (PAT) at ₹6,114.19 crore for the financial year 2024–25, compared to ₹5,551.85 crore in the previous year.The company recorded its highest-ever combined crude oil and natural gas production at 6.71 million metric tonnes of oil equivalent (MMTOE) during the year.
