Godrej delivers 250 MT high-pressure exchangers to blue ammonia plant in Middle East, ET EnergyWorld
New Delhi: Godrej Enterprises Group’s Process Equipment business has delivered four high-pressure exchangers and one high-pressure separator to a blue ammonia production facility in the Middle East, the company said in a statement.The exchangers weigh close to 250 metric tonnes, with two units measuring approximately 26 metres in length. Uniper SE has roped in thyssenkrupp Uhde GmbH as a partner and secured state funding for a large-scale ammonia cracker development project in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. The partnership will build a demonstration plant with a capacity of 28 metric tons a day of ammonia at Uniper’s Gelsenkirchen-Scholven power plant site. In the cracker, ammonia will be broken down into its components, hydrogen and nitrogen, at high temperatures.
