Sustainability platform Sustaira announced the launch of a new series of Industry-Specific Sustainability Suites, aimed at enabling companies to tackle decarbonization, climate risk management, and other sustainability issues most relevant to their individual sectors.
The new solutions launch with suites specific to seven sectors, including Industrial, Construction, Energy & Utilities, Finance, Education & Public Sector, Logistics, and Consumer Goods & Retail. Sustaira said that it plans to add Healthcare, Telecommunication, and Real Estate to the sectors covered in 2026, as well as specialized domains such as Water & Waste Stewardship and Risk & Resilience.
According to Sustaira, the launch of the new solutions aims to address a key challenge faced by organizations when investing in sustainability technology, with choices currently encompassing either off-the-shelf solutions that are overly generic, or more costly custom-built tools.
Rory O’Sullivan, Sustaira’s Global Sustainability Lead, said:
“Sustainability teams are constantly frustrated by the reality that they buy an expensive platform, but still have to rely on error-prone spreadsheets and manual calculations just to make that rigid platform fit their unique business model. Sustaira’s modular approach, now vertically specialized, means the solution adapts to you, not the other way around.”
Sustaira said that the new suites were built using a modular, AI-powered building block architecture, with each suite including a core set of solutions designed to tackle the most pressing sustainability challenges for its specific sector. The new Finance Sustainability Suite, for example, will include emissions calculators for Finance Emission Calculation and PCAF aligned tools, while the Construction Sustainability Suite includes contractor-specific data aggregation and reporting capabilities.
Sustaira added that its platform’s pre-built connectors will enable customers to extend and integrate with other platforms including IBM Envizi, Workiva, Enablon, Sphera, Sweep, Watershed, Persefoni, Microsoft, Salesforce, Greenly, and SAP.
Sustaira CEO Vincent de la Mar said:
“Most sustainability platforms today focus narrowly on Carbon Accounting and Disclosures, important, but just one part of the picture. What organizations truly need are domain and industry-specific solutions that address their unique operational realities, whether that’s decarbonizing heavy industries, managing green finance portfolios, mitigating climate risk, or tackling Scope 3 emissions in logistics.”
