EnerMech has secured a two-year contract extension to continue providing offshore rig crane inspection services for a Middle Eastern operator, reinforcing its presence in the region’s offshore maintenance and lifting services market.
The agreement builds on an existing contract and will see EnerMech continue supporting the safe operation and maintenance of cranes and lifting equipment across the operator’s offshore assets. Specialist crane engineers will mobilize offshore to conduct inspections, supported by experienced onshore engineering teams.
The company said the extension reflects its ongoing delivery of inspection and lifting services aimed at maintaining safety, reliability and operational performance on offshore installations.
Charles “Chuck” Davison Jr., CEO of EnerMech, said the award represents a key milestone for the company in the region. “Securing this extension with the Middle Eastern operator represents a significant milestone for EnerMech and we are proud to be playing a role in the operations of an organization which values operational excellence and safety,” he said. “The extension also highlights the excellent work being undertaken by our personnel in the region, who continue to deliver safe, efficient and reliable service in this critical area of operations.”
Dan Collins, senior vice president of lifting solutions at EnerMech, noted the importance of crane inspection to offshore safety and performance. “Cranes and lifting are central to the safe and efficient running of offshore drilling operations,” he said. “The inspections carried out by EnerMech are key to ensuring the ongoing reliability and safety of these machines.”
EnerMech said the contract extension supports its strategy to strengthen its Middle East footprint while continuing to provide lifting and inspection services across global offshore operations.
