New Delhi: Adani Total Gas Limited (ATGL) and Jio-bp have announced a strategic agreement under which both companies will offer each other’s fuel products across select outlets to expand their presence and improve customer access to multiple fuel types.
Under this partnership, Jio-bp’s petrol and diesel will be offered at select Adani Total Gas fuel stations, while Jio-bp outlets will integrate ATGL’s compressed natural gas (CNG) dispensing units within ATGL’s authorised geographical areas.
ATGL, a joint venture between the Adani Group and TotalEnergies, operates a network of approximately 650 CNG stations across India. Jio-bp, a joint venture between Reliance Industries and bp, has a network of about 2,000 outlets and is active in both conventional fuels and low-carbon alternatives.

The agreement covers both existing and future outlets of both companies and is expected to support India’s transition to a cleaner energy mix and enhance fuel availability for transport consumers.
ATGL has authorisation to supply piped natural gas (PNG) and CNG in 34 geographical areas and, through its joint venture with IOCL, operates in an additional 19 areas, covering 125 districts in total. Jio-bp provides alternative fuel solutions including EV charging and compressed biogas (CBG), and is also a supplier of aviation turbine fuel under the air bp-Jio brand.
The collaboration represents an alignment of both companies’ strategies to increase fuel accessibility, optimise infrastructure and offer diversified clean and conventional energy solutions to Indian consumers.
